Custom ThermoForming Jentel Manufacturing Ltd. offers a competitive turnkey service for custom thermoformed plastic projects. Our services include design, tooling, forming, CNC trimming and additional secondaries. Besides conventional single sheet forming and twin sheet forming techniques, our specialty is in good design. Plastics and plastic materials are organic, synthetic or processed polymers that are supplied as raw materials or stock shapes. They typically consist of thermoplastic or thermosetting resins and can made into many forms. • Mechanical / Drape Forming • Pressure Forming • Thermoforming • Vacuum Thermoforming • Sheet Extrusion • Injection Molding Independently or in combination with one another, these methods produce both standard and custom-designed products for the marketplace in a wide array of industries. Our edge cutting techniques give our products the smoothest edges in the thermoformed packaging industry. We use the latest thermoforming technology and equipment which is modified and perfected to take advantage of Jentel's extensive experience and detailed process knowledge. By combining innovative tooling methods and precise thickness control, often we are able to "down-gauge" parts and still meet your requirements. Thinner means lighter and lighter means lower costs to you. We also meet all guidelines for manufacturing medical, food and consumer products. CNC Trimming CNC (computer numerically controlled) trimming is a process that we use to make moulds and trim plastic shapes. Jentel offers 2 different types of machines for this service, 3 Axis and 5 Axis. Jentel offers complete cad services to bring your product from concept to finished product. Please see our product design page for more details. Mold Making Jentel constructs molds (tooling) in-house, using wood, epoxy, aluminum and steel. We have a variety of talented tool makers, from machinists to artists. Jentel also consults customers who wish to construct their own tools to ensure the molds work with optimal results. Product Design Your thermoformed plastic projects are made by Jentel's team of experts specializing in reducing part cost without sacrificing effectiveness. Jentel's complete product design and development services for thermoformed products Typical development stages involve the following: • Concept Part is designed in complete 3D for review. > Prototype tooling: • Using CNC routers, we machine out a full scale wooden tool for thermoforming test purposes. > Formed Product: • Parts are formed and await trimming procedures. > Trimmed Product: • Parts are CNC trimmed to exact specifications. > Final product: |
